Maison Pelletier Ferruel (2019) is more than a house, it's a place to live and create. From conception to living with, and sometimes back to FIRE, the GLASS works - sculpted objects - are tinged with its history, and nourished by a stubborn practice of glassblowing, moulding, cutting and pasting.
We've been here ever since we met, at the confluence of a stream and a river in which we swim in the summer. This house was abandoned several years ago, so we're taking the time to remodel the spaces and, above all, to create the tools, objects and furniture that surround us. How to live in this place is at the heart of our reflections.
Our home is also the home of occasional, temporary or permanent residents, living creatures, organic & mineral. And probably all the ghosts and stories that we don't know how to grasp.
The house and its surroundings are a place of cohabitation, play, pleasure, birth and death, where everything is a workshop of relationships.
So it's important for us to conceptualise the union that created Maison Pelletier Ferruel. A collective intimacy - rather than individuality - at the service of creation. Everything blends together here. The fluids of our ideas and gestures are shared, moving and constant. Just as the vegetables that grow in the kitchen garden are food for us and food for our minds.

We use this place as a research laboratory, but also as a living space where we can experience our objects before sending them off, if need be. We like the idea that these sculptures and objects ask us humans to adapt to them. Form is important if we are to ‘connect with’. Relationships and empathy are at the heart of the story, so we can envision other forms of relationship with our surroundings.
Each sculpture or object are unique and part of a very talkative family.
They animate us, adorn us as much as they propose to travel.
Our inspirations are eggs, humus, decomposition, buds, breath, skin, fertility, peat... More than anything else, we like to look simply at what moves and transforms at our feet, by the river, in the garden. Living with, living together. These suggestions become tools for cooking, gardening, sculpting, carving, talking and loving.

Maison PF,
as a place to kindle a bonfire,
as a gathering place from where anything can start,
in constant motion, perpetual change.
